Gdańsk Klipper Jelitkowo is a bathing beach located on the Inner Gdańsk Bay in Gdańsk, Poland. The beach has a shoreline of 50 metres and is managed by Gdański Ośrodek Sportu. Water quality monitoring has been conducted at this location, with historical records showing quality ratings from 2018 onwards. The beach was newly established and monitored starting in 2018.

Gdańsk, Bałtycka, Pomerian Voivodeship, Gdańsk District. The nearest bathing spots include Piastowska beach at the same location, Sopot beaches 1–3 kilometres away, and Molo Gdańsk and other facilities at Brzeźno 2 kilometres away.

Water Quality

Water quality classification in 2021 was adequate. In 2020 and 2019, the beach experienced multiple instances of unsuitable water caused by cyanobacteria blooms. Monitoring results show E. coli and enterococci levels tracked regularly, with maximum permissible concentrations set at 1000 CFU/100 ml for E. coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for enterococci. The beach was closed in 2022 and 2023, and was unclassified in 2024.

Risks

Cyanobacteria blooms occurred multiple times during the 2018–2020 monitoring period, resulting in water unsuitable for bathing on several dates.
