Location

Sopot, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, at beach entrance number 33. Organized by Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji w Sopocie (Municipal Centre for Sport and Recreation in Sopot).

Facilities

Lifeguard on duty, designated swimming zone in water, recreational and sports zone on beach, water intake point, waste bins, toilet, showers, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, beach regulations display, information board.

Season

28 June 2025 to 31 August 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as good (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022), excellent (2021), and not classified (2020). Monitoring shows E. coli levels with maximum permissible concentration of 1000 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci with maximum permissible concentration of 400 CFU/100 ml. Most recent test on 21 August 2025 showed water suitable for bathing with E. coli at 15 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci at 1 CFU/100 ml.

Risks

Cyanobacterial blooms have been documented on multiple dates across monitored years (2018–2025), resulting in temporary closures with classifications of water unsuitable for bathing. An oil spill incident related to a fire at Gdańsk Port was recorded on 16 July 2024.
