Water Quality

Water quality classified according to four-year statistical evaluation (95th percentile method). All monitoring results from 2025 show enterococci and Escherichia coli levels at or below 10 MPN/100ml, rated as bacteriologically unobjectionable. Water temperatures ranged from 15.7°C to 23.0°C during the monitoring period.

Risks

Bathing ban may be imposed if faecal contamination is detected, if Escherichia coli exceeds 1,800 CFU/100ml or intestinal enterococci exceed 700 CFU/100ml in confirmed tests, or if algae concentrations pose a health risk.
