Water Quality

Water quality classification based on statistical evaluation (95th percentile method) over four-year periods. Monitoring results from 2025 show water temperatures ranging from 16.3°C to 23.7°C. Enterococcus levels remained below 10 MPN/100ml except for one measurement at 10 MPN/100ml. Escherichia coli levels ranged from below 10 to 146 MPN/100ml. All six measurements between April and September 2025 were assessed as bacteriologically unobjectionable.

Risks

Bathing prohibition is issued if fecal contamination is detected posing a health risk, if Escherichia coli exceeds 1,800 KBE/100ml or Intestinal Enterococcus exceeds 700 KBE/100ml in a control test, or if algae concentrations are present that could endanger bather health.
