Location

Camerota, Salerno province, Campania region. The municipality of Camerota is located at Via Roma, 1, CAP 84040.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2020-2023). Wastewater treatment systems are in place: runoff from the Capoluogo fraction is discharged into Vallone Delle Fornaci; runoff from the Lentiscosa fraction is discharged into Cerasia and Palazzi valleys; additional runoff is treated in sedimentation tanks at Calanca in Marina di Camerota (39.99890°N, 15.36910°E) with underwater pipeline discharge; further runoff is conveyed directly into an underwater pipeline on the western side of the port mole at Marina di Camerota.
