Heidbergsee Nord is a bathing lake in the Heidbergpark, a popular recreation area for Braunschweig and the surrounding region. The lake is a former gravel pit that was artificially created and covers approximately 28 hectares. It features large sunbathing areas, sandy beach sections, and a barbecue area. Artificial sandy beaches on both sides of the lake mark the water access points.
