Heiderbergsee is an artificial lake bathing area located in the Rhein-Erft district. The bathing beach stretches 450 metres along the shoreline. The lake was created in 1965 and covers an area of 35.4 hectares with an average depth of 3.9 metres and maximum depth of 8.6 metres. Water quality has been rated as excellent for four consecutive years from 2020 to 2023.
