Hotel Galiot is a cultivated beach located in Poreč at Plava laguna in Croatia. The beach features a concrete structure surface with rocky areas and low and high vegetation. It extends 810 metres in length with a width of 20 metres and has a mild coastal slope with a convex coast shape. The beach is managed as a hotel beach by Plava laguna d.d. Poreč and holds Blue Flag status.

Water

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during the season is 24.37°C. Salinity ranges from 34.3 (minimum) to 39.1 (maximum) during the season. Tide amplitude is 49.2 cm. The underwater coastal slope is moderate, ranging from 15 to 25 degrees. Prevailing wind direction is east.

Location

Poreč, Plava laguna. Free parking is available. The beach is accessible by asphalt road.

Facilities

Restaurant, sanitary facility, shower, changing room, disabled access, playground, bench, trash can. Floating safety lines provide sea-side protection at the beach front.

Season

Annual monitoring conducted throughout the season with sampling from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually with 10 samples per year since 2009. Final assessments covering four-year periods from 2009-2012 through 2022-2025 each include 40 samples. Monitoring is conducted under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
