Plage de la Gabrielle is a 70-meter sandy beach located on Île du Grand Gaou in the commune of Six-Fours. The beach is enclosed, oriented west, and has low to moderate visitor frequency. It is accessible by shuttle from Brusc port to Île des Embiez. The beach is bordered to the north by Pointe Saint Pierre and to the south by Pointe de la Gabrielle.

Enclosed sandy beach, 70 meters long, with a natural watershed of 0.1 km². Water renewal is low due to the enclosed nature of the beach.

Location

Six-Fours, Île du Grand Gaou. Accessible by shuttle connecting Brusc port to Île des Embiez. A shower facility is present on site.

Shower. Proximity to tourism residence, hotel, and thermal bath center.

Season

15 June to 15 September.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as good in all DDASS samples collected between 2001 and 2008. The site has a low vulnerability index. Weekly bacteriological analysis is conducted during the summer season.

Risks

Low risk of algal bloom. Potential bacterial pollution from stormwater runoff via a storm drainage collector during rainy periods. Short-term pollution not affecting water quality beyond 72 hours is anticipated.
