Isola Verde is an equipped beach located on the Adriatic coast in the Veneto region, approximately 1400 metres south of the mouth of the Brenta River and 1100 metres north of the Adige River mouth. The beach extends over a 2–5 kilometre stretch and is oriented along a NW-SE direction. The beach width measures between 25 and 50 metres.

Adriatic Sea. The designated bathing area covers 0.250 square kilometres.

Location

Located in Chioggia, Venice Province, Veneto region. The bathing water is situated on the Adriatic coast between the Brenta River mouth to the north and the Adige River mouth to the south.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent for the years 2021–2024. Monitoring results: EI95° 45.627; EI90° 35.398; EC95° 215.927; EC90° 146.529.

Risks

The bathing area is affected by river mouth discharges from the Brenta and Adige rivers. A wastewater treatment plant (Depuratore di Chioggia - Brondolo) with a design capacity of 160,000 population equivalents is located 3.3 kilometres from the sea outlet.
