Isola Verde is an equipped beach located on the Adriatic coast near Chioggia, Veneto. The beach stretches between the mouths of the Brenta River to the north and the Adige River to the south, extending approximately 2–5 km. The specific bathing water zone is situated about 500 metres north of the Adige River mouth and approximately 2,000 metres south of the Brenta River mouth. The beach is oriented along a northwest-southeast direction. The water is classified as good quality based on monitoring data from 2021–2024.

Chioggia, Veneto, Italy. The bathing water is located 500 metres north of the mouth of the Adige River and 2,000 metres south of the mouth of the Brenta River.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: good (2021–2024). Enterococcus intestinalis (EI) 95th percentile: 120.031; EI 90th percentile: 80.575. Escherichia coli (EC) 95th percentile: 367.998; EC 90th percentile: 231.918. Identified pollution sources include discharge from the Chioggia-Brondolo wastewater treatment plant (design capacity 160,000 population equivalents, located 3.3 km from the sea outlet) and inputs from the Brenta and Adige river mouths.
