Isola Verde is a free public beach located along the Adriatic Sea coast in the Veneto region, situated approximately 300 metres south of the mouth of the Brenta River. The beach extends for approximately 2 to 5 kilometres between the Brenta River to the north and the Adige River to the south, with a beach width between 25 and 50 metres. The bathing water has been classified as excellent for the period 2021–2024.

Location

Located in Chioggia, Venice Province, Veneto Region, Italy. The bathing area is situated along the Adriatic Sea coast approximately 300 metres south of the Brenta River mouth, oriented along a northwest-to-southeast direction. Water Quality

Water quality classification: excellent (2021–2024). Enterococcus intestinalis 95th percentile: 68.67; 90th percentile: 50.033. Escherichia coli 95th percentile: 248.998; 90th percentile: 157.527. Identified pollution sources: Brenta River mouth, Adige River mouth, and the Chioggia-Brondolo wastewater treatment plant located 3.3 kilometres from the river outlet (design capacity: 160,000 population equivalents).
