Three bathing beaches located in Biscarrosse commune in the Landes department of southwestern France, situated southeast of Lake Cazaux-Sanguinet. The beaches are Ispes-Navarrosse, Mayotte, and La Rive, each with sandy shores and shallow waters. The bathing season runs from early June to mid-September. The area is characterized by a temperate oceanic climate with mild winters and cool summers, and sits within a landscape of forests, lakes, and coastal dunes.

Three separate bathing zones in Lake Cazaux-Sanguinet, a lake formed by a coastal dune barrier. Ispes-Navarrosse: 324 m long, 50 m wide, 145,843 m² area, mean depth 35 cm, maximum depth 60 cm. Mayotte: 310 m long, 30 m wide, 12,540 m² area, mean depth 25 cm, maximum depth 45 cm. La Rive: 242 m long, 35 m wide, 6,070 m² area, mean depth 45 cm, maximum depth 65 cm. All three have sandy bottoms with north-south water circulation.

Location

Biscarrosse, Landes department, Aquitaine region, in southwestern France, approximately 9 km from Biscarrosse town center towards the coast. Ispes-Navarrosse is accessible by road with parking and pedestrian paths. Mayotte and La Rive are accessible by pedestrian paths or by boat.
