Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is excellent. Maximum permitted concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml, enterococci 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. Most recent assessment on 22 August 2025 rated water as suitable for bathing with E. coli at 8 jtk(NPL)/100 ml and enterococci at 1 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. One unsuitable rating on 7 August 2025 due to elevated E. coli (3380 jtk(NPL)/100 ml) and enterococci (824 jtk(NPL)/100 ml).

Risks

Escherichia coli and enterococci contamination on 7 August 2025 made water unsuitable for bathing.
