Mrzeżyno Zachód is a bathing beach located on the Baltic Sea in Poland with a 100-metre shoreline. The beach is monitored seasonally and has consistently achieved good to excellent water quality ratings. Swimming is permitted during the official bathing season from late June to the end of August.

Location

Mrzeżyno, Mrzeżyno Zachód, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Gryfice County, Poland. The nearest bathing beach to the east (Mrzeżyno Wschód) is less than 1 kilometre away.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone, waste bins, toilet facilities, lifeguard post with WOPR flag, lifeguard on duty, information board, pet ban enforced.

Season

28 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Opening hours: Monday 9:00 to 17:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is excellent. The beach is regularly monitored for E. coli and enterococci. Permissible concentration limits are E. coli at 1000 CFU/100 ml and enterococci at 400 CFU/100 ml. All monitoring results from 2025 indicate water suitable for bathing. Cyanobacterial bloom was recorded on 25 July 2018, resulting in an unsuitable water classification on that date. An enterococci-related unsuitability was recorded on 28 August 2017.
