Water quality classification for 2024: Poor quality. Monitoring threshold for E. coli: 1000 CFU/100 ml. Monitoring threshold for Enterococci: 400 CFU/100 ml. In 2024, water was deemed unsuitable for bathing on 19 June due to elevated Enterococci levels (1200 CFU/100 ml). In 2023, water was unsuitable for bathing on multiple occasions between 21 June and 19 July, primarily due to Enterococci contamination. In 2022, water was unsuitable on 22, 24, and 29 June due to Enterococci. In 2021, water was unsuitable on 15 July and 11 August due to Enterococci and E. coli respectively. In 2019, water was unsuitable on 31 July due to E. coli (1567 CFU/100 ml). In 2018, water was unsuitable on 17 August due to E. coli and Enterococci.
