Kerpape is a small beach located at the southeastern edge of Plœmeur, shared with the municipality of Larmor-Plage. The beach stretches just over 200 metres in length and features fine sandy intertidal zones. It is situated between two rocky outcrops and is considered an extension of the adjacent Kerguélen dune complex. The beach is classified as a Type 1 bathing profile, indicating no demonstrated risk of water pollution.

Water

Coastal seawater beach. The intertidal zone consists of fine sand. The beach is approximately 200 metres in length, situated between two rocky headlands on the Breton coastline.

Location

The beach is located at the southeastern extremity of Plœmeur commune, bordering Larmor-Plage. The access road to the beach constitutes the boundary between the two communes. The majority of the beach's intertidal zone is situated within Larmor-Plage territory.

Season

The bathing profile was established for the 2011 bathing season under European Union Directive 2006/7 requirements.

Water Quality

The bathing water profile is classified as Type 1, meaning there is no demonstrated risk of water pollution. The beach is monitored for bacteriological quality as part of the municipal bathing water management system.
