Kiessee II is a quarry lake located approximately 7 km south of Königs Wusterhausen in the Dahme Lake District, within the Teupitz-Köris Lake District Landscape Protection Area. The lake is the middle of three extraction lakes created during gravel mining, with an almost oval shape, a surface area of 3.1 hectares, and a maximum depth of approximately 6 metres. The water transparency at the bathing area consistently exceeds 0.5 metres during the season, with a summer mean value of 1.1 metres in open water. The lake area is entirely dedicated to leisure use and is surrounded by forested areas used as a camping site, with several bathing areas lining the shore.
