Kiessee Schildow is a gravel pit lake situated a few kilometres north of Berlin on the West Barnim Plateau. It lies directly on the Tegeler Fliess stream. The lake was created in the 1950s from an abandoned gravel quarry and now serves as a public bathing area. It features multiple bathing zones with gently sloping shores, a snack bar, and several beach volleyball fields. Rock concerts and cultural events are regularly held at the site during summer and autumn.
