A rocky coastal bathing area located along State Road 187 at the boundary between Erice and Valderice municipalities in Sicily. The beach has a width of 5 meters and experiences reduced visitor numbers during the summer season. The water body is classified as excellent quality.

Location

Km. 9 on the Trapani–Bonagia road, Erice municipality, Trapani province, Sicily. Located along the boundary between Erice and Valderice territories.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent. Monitoring conducted by ARPA Sicilia – Struttura Territoriale Trapani. No identified pollution sources causing negative impacts on bathing water.

Risks

Potential anomalous situations identified: pump or pipeline failures. No cyanobacteria proliferation events recorded in the past four years. Macroalgae and phytoplankton proliferation not monitored at this sampling point.
