Großer Kuhsee is a natural lake near Gramzow in northeastern Brandenburg, designated as a Natura 2000 European protection area. The lake extends 1.5 km in a west-east direction with a surface area of 25.5 hectares. It is surrounded by a dense reed belt and is separated from surrounding agricultural fields by narrow tree belts. The lake receives water from three tributaries and has a maximum depth of 12 meters with stable temperature stratification in summer.
