The Labeaume bathing site is located on the Beaume river at the border between the communes of Labeaume and Saint-Alban-Auriolles in southern Ardèche. The beach is situated within the Beaume Gorges at the level of the main village on the left bank. The bathing zone corresponds to a pool approximately 15 to 25 metres wide and 150 metres long, with a maximum depth of about 1.80 metres. The water has excellent transparency and rapid water renewal of several minutes.

Water

River (Beaume). The bathing zone is a pool approximately 15–25 metres wide and 150 metres long. Maximum depth approximately 1.80 metres. The substrate is composed primarily of pebbles and finer materials such as gravel and sand. Water transparency is very good. Water renewal occurs within minutes due to rapid flow.

Location

Beaume river, Gorges de la Beaume, southern Ardèche, France. The site is located approximately 50 metres upstream of the Labeaume village bridge. The village of Labeaume has a large paid parking facility nearby. Coordinates Lambert 93: X = 757003 Y = 1940566.

Facilities

The site is a free, unmanaged and unsupervised bathing area. Public toilets are available near the village. A parking facility (fee-based), waste bins, and a picnic area are nearby. A warning sign panel will be installed for the 2015 season. No lifeguard post or first aid station is present.
