Réville commune. The beach is known as Plage de la Pointe de Saire.

Water Quality

Water quality was classified as excellent at the end of the 2013 season. Recent degradation was recorded in 2018. Water quality monitoring includes faecal indicator germs and classification according to Directive 2006/7/CEE. Shellfish production zones and recreational foot-fishing zones are also monitored bacteriologically.

Risks

Identified pollution sources include domestic wastewater, non-collective sanitation installations, rainwater runoff, agricultural activities, artisanal and industrial activities, port and mooring zone activities, camping and caravan areas, and fairground activities. The Saire river outflows have documented impact on water quality.
