Lendinuso is a sandy beach at the base of a cliff located in Torchiarolo, Brindisi province, in the Puglia region of Italy. The bathing water area covers 0.397 square kilometers. The beach has been classified as excellent for water quality based on monitoring data from 2017–2020. No short-term pollution events have been recorded over the past four years.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). The potential source of point pollution is the mouth of Canal Infocaciucci at the southern boundary of the area. No direct wastewater discharges to sea are present. No short-term pollution events have been recorded in the past four years.

Risks

The mouth of Canal Infocaciucci is identified as a potential pollution source. The bathing area is not characterized by algal or cyanobacterial blooms, and no cases of potentially toxic algal proliferation have been detected.
