Location

Seasonal summer services: refreshment point and first aid assistance. Animals are permitted with no signage prohibiting access.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The beach is within a drainage basin with mixed land use including uncultivated areas, Mediterranean scrub, state-owned land, and industrial zones. Sewage treatment infrastructure exists but data on compliance with EU Directive 91/271/CE is not available.

Risks

Discharge of untreated wastewater has been identified as a pollution source. Urban stormwater runoff and wastewater discharge from separate sewer systems are characterized as short-duration pollution events. Bathing prohibition signs are deployed as a management measure. No cyanobacterial proliferation or macroalgae proliferation events have been recorded in the previous four years.
