Lividic Beach is a large beach with wild surroundings located in the commune of Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages. The beach was classified as excellent quality in 2013, degraded to good quality in 2014, and to sufficient quality in 2016. Green algae strandings are possible depending on the year, tides, and wind direction. The beach is relatively sheltered from offshore swells due to predominantly east-west current orientations, with moderate currents. The beach is directly concerned by the Natura 2000 zone of Goulven Bay and Keremma dunes.

Coastal beach. Catchment area approximately 60 hectares. The beach does not benefit from natural protection. Currents are moderate and predominantly east-west oriented.

Location

Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages commune. The catchment area is approximately 60 hectares. A caravan site is located on the watershed territory of Plounéour-Trez east of Cosquer with 100 pitches and estimated capacity of 300 people.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2013), Good (2014), Sufficient (2016). Monitoring indicates coliform bacteria and Escherichia coli as indicators of fecal contamination. Intestinal enterococci present as indicators of water contamination.

Green algae strandings possible depending on year, tides, and wind direction. Fecal contamination indicated by presence of coliform bacteria and Escherichia coli.
