Kerurus SNSM beach is a small bathing area located on the western side of Goulven Bay in the municipality of Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages. The beach is equipped with an SNSM (National Maritime Rescue Society) station and is classified as good quality water according to the 2006 directive. The beach is sheltered from offshore swells, with moderate currents. The surrounding watershed is predominantly agricultural with low urbanization on the coastal strip.

Water

Bathing area located on the western side of Goulven Bay in the Atlantic coastal waters. The watershed covers approximately 11 hectares. The beach is sheltered from offshore swells with moderate currents.

Location

Located in the municipality of Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages on the western side of Goulven Bay. The beach is in the Lesneven Côte des Légendes community area. A caravan park with approximately 50 pitches is located in the watershed on Route Streat Nevez.

Facilities

Equipped with an SNSM (National Maritime Rescue Society) station. The beach is an organized bathing area with safety information signage and sanitization control results posted.

Water Quality

Water classified as good quality in 2017 under Directive 2006/7/CE. The water quality was classified as excellent following the 2013 season but degraded to good quality in 2015, prompting revision of the bathing profile. Monitoring includes analysis of coliform bacteria, Escherichia coli, and intestinal enterococci.
