Water quality classification: Excellent (2021-2024). E. coli 95th percentile: 9.805 CFU/100 ml; E. coli 90th percentile: 6.779 CFU/100 ml. Enterococcus 95th percentile: 138.837 CFU/100 ml; Enterococcus 90th percentile: 67.619 CFU/100 ml. Wastewater treatment infrastructure includes a mixed municipal water collection system with emergency overflows, a consortium collector, stormwater discharge pipes, and the Peschiera del Garda treatment plant which discharges into the Mincio river in Lombardy.
