Malina is a bathing beach located on Malina Reservoir in Opole, Poland. The beach has a shoreline of 50 metres and sits at an elevation below 200 metres. The reservoir covers 13.5 hectares. The beach bottom is sandy and sandy-silty. Swimming is permitted in a designated zone within the water.

Season

27 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours 10:00–19:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is good. Most recent assessment (22 August 2025) rated the water as suitable for bathing with E. coli at 15 CFU/100 ml and enterococci at 47 CFU/100 ml. Maximum permitted concentrations are 1000 CFU/100 ml for E. coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for enterococci. No cyanobacterial algal blooms have been observed in the last 4 years.

Risks

Potential water contamination is limited to heavy atmospheric rainfall, ground subsidence, or human vandalism due to the absence of inflows to the reservoir. Risk of cyanobacterial growth in the future is low.
