Maritimsee is a bathing lake in Osterholz-Scharmbeck located between the districts of Hülseberg and Ohlenstedt. It is a former gravel extraction lake whose surroundings have been transformed into a recreation and leisure area. The lake shore is regularly cleaned and consists of fine sand. The lake covers approximately 41,000 square metres and offers adequate space for bathing and swimming activities. In some areas, the shore is very shallow, providing excellent bathing opportunities for families with small children.
