The Quellsee is a former gravel pit lake located in Osterholz-Scharmbeck between the districts of Hülseberg and Ohlenstedt. The surrounding area has been developed into a recreational and leisure zone. The lake covers approximately 57,000 square metres with a fine sand shoreline that is regularly cleaned. Shallow areas along the shore make it suitable for families with small children.
