Martinhal is a coastal bathing water located on a beach with restricted use in the Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and within a Natura 2000 protected site. The beach features wide golden sand with high dunes at the center, cliffs and pebbles at the east, and a small temporary watercourse. The beach extends 110 metres in length.
