Water Quality

Water quality classified as good in 2025, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2016. Classified as satisfactory in 2018 and 2017. Maximum permissible concentrations: E. coli 1000 CFU/100 ml, enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Algal blooms have been identified as a pollution source on multiple dates across multiple years (July to August).

Risks

Algal blooms (cyanobacteria blooms) have occurred during the bathing season in multiple years.
