Naturschwimmbad Heldrungen is a natural swimming lake located in the town of An der Schmücke in the district of Heldrungen. Originating as a quarry pit in 1943, it was officially established as a swimming facility in 1968 and expanded with a non-swimmer pool in 1969. The lake encompasses a total area of 0.015 km² and is divided into swimming and recreational zones. The swimming area includes separate textile and naturist sections, each measuring 2,800 m², accessed via a sandy beach. The facility features a 1.6-hectare sun lawn, diving tower, beach volleyball court, children's playground, and bistro.
