Natursee Hodenhagen is an artificial bathing lake created in 1985 in the town centre. The lake measures approximately 120 metres in length, 100 metres in width, and has a maximum depth of 4 metres, containing approximately 48,000 cubic metres of water. Swimming takes place at the visitor's own risk as there is no lifeguard supervision.
