Freibad - Franz See is an inland lake bathing facility located in the Amedorf municipality within the lower Leine landscape conservation area between Mandelsloh and Helstorf. The Seegraben stream flows through the lake and drains into the Leine river. The Franzsee-Initiative e.V. operates the bathing area, offering recreational facilities and swimming supervision for an entrance fee.
