Nordseestrand Westbad is located on Juist, a 17 km long North Sea island known for its white, fine-grained sandy beach. The island is part of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park and has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site since 2009. Juist is partially only 500 metres wide depending on tidal conditions. The island contains two settlements: the main village of Juist and Loog.
