Coastal bathing water located on a non-urban beach with intensive use, situated within the Natural Park of Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina and in a Natura 2000 site. The beach features golden sand with cleft schist cliffs and extends 330 metres. To the north, it is bounded by the mouth of the Seixe river, where lagoons form. The beach experiences a tidal range of 3.4–3.5 metres and typical wave heights of 1 metre, with predominant winds from the north to northwest.
