The bathing water receives weak influence from Lago Patria, which receives sewage discharges from urban sewage networks in Naples Province and contributions from the Vena Canal, which carries discharge from an intensive fish farming facility equipped with a treatment plant. No wastewater inputs from municipalities in Caserta Province.
