Pasha Dere is a bathing water area located in northeastern Bulgaria near Varna on the Black Sea coast. The beach features a wide strip of fine sand and is situated close to the Priboy resort area. The zone is part of the Galata Natura 2000 site and includes a protected wetland area with a small stocked lake. Access by vehicle to the Pasha Dere beach remains unrestricted for high-clearance vehicles.

Black Sea bathing water. The coastal zone features sandy beaches interspersed with rocky areas. The nearshore shelf alternates between rocks, sands, and alluvial zones with significant biodiversity of algae and fauna.

Location

Located near the Priboy resort zone in Varna municipality, northeastern Bulgaria. Approximately 4 km from Galata district and 15 km from Varna city center. Access is possible by personal vehicle or public transport bus line, though access is somewhat difficult.

Facilities

The beach is unguarded. Limited facilities are indicated, with approximately 50–100 visitors recorded.

Water Quality

Water quality classification results from 2007 to 2021 show: Excellent (compliant with guide values) in 2007–2011, 2014–2016, and 2021; Good or Sufficient (compliant with mandatory values) in 2012–2013; Good in 2017–2020. A creek flowing into the bathing zone is identified as a potential pollution source, but monitoring of its condition has not been conducted.
