Zona Magazzinazzi is a wide, flat sandy beach located in Alcamo, Sicily, on the Tyrrhenian Sea coast. The beach is 65 metres wide and situated in a heavily anthropized area with numerous scattered or clustered villas above it. The bathing water is classified as excellent and experiences high bather numbers during the summer season.

Location

Alcamo, Sicily, in the province of Trapani. The beach is located at coordinates 38.0289°N, 12.9350°E to 38.0250°N, 12.9095°E, covering an area of 2.240 square kilometres. Parking, beach establishments, bars, restaurants, and shops are available. Disabled access is provided.

Water Quality

Risks

Intense atmospheric events and unauthorized discharges have been identified as potential causes of pollution. No cyanobacterial proliferation events have occurred in the past four years. The beach does not fall within ARPA Trapani's macroalgae and phytoplankton monitoring points.
