Cala Antena is a natural beach located on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach measures 25 metres in length and 85 metres in width with a medium slope and fine sand substrate. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with low visitor numbers and daily use. A seafront promenade runs alongside the beach.

Free-access bathing water with no currents, whirlpools, or undertow. The water mass is identified as MAMC09M3, located between Punta de Capdepera and Portocolom.

Location

Located in the municipality of Manacor on Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access and disabled access are available. Vehicle access and parking are provided.

Water Quality

Water quality classification in 2022–2023 is Good. Annual classification ratings were Excellent in 2019 and 2020, and Good in 2021 and 2022. No short-duration pollution episodes were recorded in 2019, 2021, or 2022, with one recorded in 2020. One exceptional pollution episode exceeding 72 hours was recorded in 2021. Pollution sources include rainwater discharge; no point discharges are present.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish presence. No history of harmful phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation.
