Water quality classification for 2022-23 is Good. Annual quality ratings from 2019-2022 were consistently Excellent. Historical water status from 2007-09 was Very Good and 2018-19 was Good. One short-duration contamination episode and one exceptional pollution event were recorded over the 2019-2022 period. Potential pollution sources include a private pumping station and rainwater drainage.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish presence recorded. Currents present in the water. No recorded history of phytoplankton blooms or cyanobacteria proliferation.
