Cala Bona is an artificial bathing beach located in Son Servera municipality on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach has a length of 453 metres with fine sand and a gentle slope. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with medium visitor numbers, primarily used by non-local visitors on a daily basis. A promenade runs along the beach.

Free-access bathing water. The water body is part of the MAMC09M3 water mass, located between Punta de Capdepera and Portocolom. No currents, whirlpools, or undertow are present.

Son Servera municipality, Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is good. Disabled access is good. Road access is good. No parking is available.

Annual quality classification: Excellent for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Water state 2007–09: Very good. Water state 2018–19: Good. Water state 2022–23: Good. No short-duration pollution episodes (<72 hours) recorded from 2019 to 2022. No exceptional pollution episodes (>72 hours) recorded from 2019 to 2022. Identified pollution sources include wastewater treatment plant emissions (EDAR) approximately 1 kilometre away, septic tanks, boat discharges, and storm water drainage.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish. No antecedents of harmful algal blooms or cyanobacteria.
