Cala Cortina is a naturally occurring beach in Cartagena located on the Mediterranean coast within the Segura River Basin hydrographic demarcation. The beach stretches 250 metres in length with an average width of 15 metres and features a dark sand bottom composed of gravel and sand. It experiences a micromeridional tide of less than 2 metres and has a water renewal rate of less than 7 days. The beach is designated as a bathing zone and has been awarded the Blue Flag.
