E. coli and enterococcus monitoring conducted from 2008 to 2010. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 04/03 Esteiro Río Eume) has a history of contamination classified as Class C.

Risk of short-duration contamination from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events, flagged with yellow alert for precipitation intensity. Adjacent shellfish production zone has historical contamination.
