Playa d'en Bossa is a 700-metre-long recreational bathing beach on the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. The beach features fine sand with a gentle slope and has a high daily visitor flow. A promenade runs along the beach, which is accessible on foot but not by vehicle.

Natural freshwater bathing area, 700 metres long and 25 metres wide, with fine sand substrate and gentle slope. No currents or whirlpools are reported.

Located on the island of Ibiza in the municipality of Ibiza, Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is available. No vehicle access or parking is provided.

Pedestrian access is available. Disabled access is provided. A promenade runs along the beach. No vehicle parking is available.

Water Quality

Annual water quality classification was Excellent in 2019, 2021, and 2022; Good in 2020. Long-term status 2007–2009 and 2018–2019 was Very Good; 2022–2023 status is Good. No short-duration or exceptional pollution episodes were recorded from 2019 to 2022. Identified pollution sources include wastewater treatment plants, various outfall pipes, septic tanks, boats, and stormwater runoff.

Risks

Jellyfish are occasionally present. No phytoplankton or cyanobacteria blooms have been recorded.
