Playa de Benafelí is a maritime bathing zone located in Almassora, Castellón province, in the Valencian Community. The beach has an irregular closed configuration with parallel and perpendicular breakwaters for coastal defence. It features a sandy and gravel composition with an artificial origin, extending 1168 metres along the high tide line with an average width of 90 metres. The beach is situated in an urban area with an industrial zone to the north and Playa de la Torre to the south.

Potential short-duration pollution risks from rainfall, urban sanitation, and coastal discharges classified as low frequency and mild impact. No cyanobacteria proliferation detected in the coastal waters of the Valencian Community. Phytoplankton and macroalgae blooms are natural phenomena that occur more frequently in low-renewal bathing zones. Jellyfish blooms are associated with coastal geomorphology, climatic conditions, and high water temperatures.
