Aigua Blanca is a beach located in Oliva, Valencia, Spain. It is a longitudinal open-configuration beach with a rigid maritime promenade and no defense structures. The beach is bordered to the north by Pau-Pi beach and to the south by Rabdells beach. The swimming season runs from 1 June to 15 September.

Water

Maritime bathing water with a shoreline length of 1,736.5 m and average width of 45 m. The beach composition is sand of artificial origin. The coast is a low-accumulation coastal type with currents flowing from south to north. The tidal range is microtidal. Water depth reaches maximum 15.5 m offshore.

Location

The beach is situated in the municipality of Oliva, Valencia province, Valencian Community, Spain. Parking is available. Access for persons with disabilities is provided.

Facilities

Lifeguards and rescue services are available. Free public toilets and foot washing facilities are provided. Accessible parking and accessible facilities are available. Beach is marked with buoys. Additional services include scooter rental, sun loungers, umbrellas, and a kiosk. Medium density of bathers during swimming season.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent. Monitoring results for 2020–2023 show excellent classification. The water body is part of the Júcar hydrographic district and is classified as a coastal water body in good status. Weekly inspections during the bathing season assess water appearance, sand cleanliness, and facility maintenance.

Risks

A naturally occurring drainage channel (Acequia Mare) of mixed origin discharges to the coast at the northern limit of the beach with seasonal frequency and medium risk classification. Potential contamination risk factors from rainfall, urban wastewater, and coastal discharges are classified as low frequency with mild effect. Potential risks from rivers, industrial facilities, port installations, and diffuse pollution are also classified as low frequency with mild effect.
