Cala Blanca is a closed cove beach located in the municipality of Jávea in Alicante province, Valencian Community, Spain. The beach has a shoreline of 509 metres with an average width of 10.81 metres and is composed of rock with artificial origins. It is bordered to the north by Muntanyar II beach and to the south by Cap de la Nao. The beach has no defence structures and no seafront promenade.

Parking available. Buoys for delimitation present. No lifeguard service. No accessible facilities service. No showers or foot wash facilities. No toilets. Bins available at beach entrance. No bar or chiringuito. Medium bather density during bathing season.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent for the 2020-2023 monitoring period. The beach is monitored at sampling point PM 1 (Centro Cala Norte). No direct discharge outlets affect the beach. Urban sanitation connections do not reach this location. Weekly inspections during bathing season assess visual parameters including water analysis, water appearance, and sand cleanliness.

Risks

Potential contamination factors from rainfall, urban sanitation, and coastal discharge all classified as low frequency and mild impact. No cyanobacteria episodes detected in the regional coastal area. Jellyfish proliferation possible as a natural phenomenon associated with coastal geomorphology and water temperature.
